Admissions Policy and Procedures for Registration
Winter Harbor Children’s House holds priority
placement in all programs until January 31st of the
current school year for existing and alumni families. On
February 1st we begin accepting applications on an
unrestricted basis.
A parent and child visit will be arranged
to enable both parents and teachers an opportunity to access
placement.
Registration
1. Upon acceptance of a placement offer,
the school requires a $20 registration fee, and May tuition
of the intended school year.
2. Registration fee and May deposit is not refundable.
Final Confirmation
1. Prior to the first day of the upcoming
school year a newsletter, school calendar, emergency form,
health history form, family list and a bill for September’s
tuition due by July 15th will be sent to each family. Once
all the required forms are returned and September’s tuition
is received, program placement is assured.
Tuition Policy
1. Tuition is based on an annual basis. Parents
may choose to pay in nine equal installments. Except for
the first and last months of the school year, all payments
are due the first day of each month, beginning October 1st.
2. Withdrawal during the school year requires 30 days notice
in writing. Pre-paid tuition for May will not be returned.
Waiting Pool
There is no fee to have your child placed
in our waiting pool. Please fill out the Registration Application
form and return it to the school. We will notify you when
an appropriate placement is available. Winter Harbor does
not discriminate based on race, creed, disability or any
other difference.
